January is Mentoring Month

Each year in January, mentoring programs across the country celebrate the positive impacts of mentoring by recognizing outstanding mentors and recruiting mentors for the upcoming year.

The Iowa Mentoring Partnership assists mentoring programs from all over the state through training, technical assistance and networking. The Partnership encompasses more than 80 programs, which benefit thousands of children and young people in Iowa, but there is always a need for more volunteer mentors.
